Is it possible? having the last record in the recordset be #1?

Did you mean by using sort ORDER BY the_field DESC ?

Not a field. It’s the ‘Sequence number’ option in ‘Table options/List page’.

I don’t think so. As its name said, the sequence number will always be started from 1 at the first row and at the first page.
