2FA for windows users (matched to database users in User_CustomValidate) was working fine up to the 2025.8 update (or a subsequent template update; not sure). Google authenticator and email alike.
After typing the code in, the wheel keeps revolving forever.
I tried resetting the user’s profile field, setting it to NULL. It goes through the first time use successfully, then gets stuck at the second step, just the same as before. No green colored success message; rotating wheel forever.
If I use the last code I generated with 2025.7 (which I kept), 2FA works perfectly.
2FA depends on many project settings. If you are a registered user you better send your project files to support for testing.
