suspecting adminLite/bootstrap have also changed?

this was v2025 working, is there a recommended method to hide a tab?

There is no change. However, make sure you call your code when the HTML elements are already rendered, e.g. use Startup Script instead of Client Script. Also, inspect HTML element in browser to make sure your selector is correct.

thanks... in v2025 it hid the tab in the client views, ok thanks i'll move to the startup script
