Hide Logged In User Name on Sidebar Nav

Is there a way to hide the logged in user name so it is not showing on the side bar nav, or to replace what is shown with something else? Thanks!

What did you mean by so it is not showing on the side bar nav? Did you mean you want to hide Username both on Sidebar and on Top Navbar?
