Hide only side menu but display header

I will like to hide only side menu but display header and footer. How do i achieve this please . Thank you

You may choose sidebar-collapse from Tools → Advanced Settings → AdminLTE layout class, then re-generate ALL the script files and try again.

The side menu still shows. I need it off completely.

You may enable Navbar Item from Tools → Menu Editor for all menu items, re-generate ALL the script files, and try again.

most of these options didn’t work consistently for me.
