How to add npm packages?

Am using Asp.net make V2025 , and like to know the steps of adding npm and enable it in the project through the program.

I know that , but I need the next step after that , I mean what is the steps to enable npm and make it it active in my project through the asp.net maker after add it from the tool.

I did all steps but nothing happened , I hope there is an example to add and enable any NPM

You could check the documentation for the specific npm package you are using. I would expect that you would need to write custom code, choose styles, or somehow tell the package what you want it to do, which fields to work on, or when to trigger something. Since you already added it in the npm dialog, when you generate you can see a couple lines where it's running npm, which will download the package and add it to your project, but you probably need to tell the package to do something.

For example, I used the itext7 NuGet package and had to write a server event to tell itext7 which PDF to open, extract the text and which field to store it in. I used the itext7 documentation to figure out how, but that won't help if you're using a different package, you would need the documentation for the package you're using.

The documentation gives the steps to enable in VS not in the Asp.net maker , do you have one siple example to do that?

I don't have any experience with the package you're using so I don't know. If you post the name of the package it's possible someone else might have used it with ASP.NET Maker, or you might need to figure it out yourself. You can generate your project in ASP.NET Maker and then open the generated output in Visual Studio, maybe that could help you enable it using VS.
