How to use v2020 and v2025 on the same machine?

Hello,

I primarily use PHPMaker 2025, but I also need to keep PHPMaker 2020 installed on the same machine to support some legacy projects that have not yet been migrated to v2025.

The issue is that whenever I launch PHPMaker 2020 after using PHPMaker 2025, I am prompted to re-enter the license key for PHPMaker 2020 every time. It seems that the two versions may be sharing or overwriting the license information in the system (e.g., in the Windows registry).

My questions are:

  1. Is it officially supported to have PHPMaker 2020 and PHPMaker 2025 installed on the same PC?
  2. How can I prevent PHPMaker 2020 from asking for the license key repeatedly when both versions are installed?
  3. Is there any recommended workaround (e.g., registry export/import, separate user profiles, or portable installation) to avoid this conflict?

You should be able to use them on the same machine.

Make sure you open v2020 as Windows administrator so that you can save the license info in registry.
