Notification inside website itself like Web Push

The web push show the message to browser
Instead show message browser I want to show the notification in the web site itself. Example just near the user icon a small notification icon and all the message show there.

Is there inbulit function in PHPMaker

or please help how can I start for this

There is no such feature in PHPMaker. Web push is meant to be shown by browser. If you want messages by the app itself, it is a completely different concept, you may refer to something like Messenger: Sync & Queued Message Handling.

I hope this features should be added in the PHPMaker future version.

I created a code that shows me the latest records in a specific table as notifications at the top, like appointments.
You can copy this same code and use it in your project to display the latest prices, and modify it if you wish using ChatGPT to change some neat details.

Note that Web Push offers key advantages over in-app notification system:

  • Works even when the browser is closed (by service workers)
  • Supports offline notifications (delivered later if user is offline)
  • Can trigger system-level notifications (desktop or mobile)
  • More efficient, as it doesn’t keep a connection open
  • Ensures delivery even if the user is temporarily offline

In contrast, in-app notification system only works when the web page is open and connected.

It is not possible to understand how notifications works, but it works manually. For example, there is no way in the same tables to add notifications at the top of the page while choosing the field that is displayed.

The meaning is that when adding a new record designated for a specific employee, he receives a notification in the bell along with records such as Facebook and others. That is, the work does not have a clear explanation for adding such notifications other than that they are done manually!

If there is a method or explanations on YouTube, it will be wonderfully explained to everyone on how to deal with it because it requires detail, or it will be added as icons in the same phpmaker program as table settings and field settings, and it will be wonderful notifications that appear at the top of the page, or at least a notification that a new record has been added to the employee as an appointment or reminder!! Or even assigned to a TASK
