Print button sometimes missing

I have defined a print button and export to Excel button on List pages, but sometimes they are missing. What could be the cause? I’m using V 2024

Explain in more details what you mean by “sometimes they are missing”. Do you mean only for certain tables, or when running in some situation like searching / sorting / etc?

Only for certain tables (views), even with views that are similar to list persons in specific functions, one view shows the buttons, one view doesn’t

you need to specify the tables in the plugins section of the PDF plugin

Tools-[extensions]
then select PDF Export - Advanced
goto tables, then select the tables you want the export on…

Thanks for your help.
Actually I don’t need PDF. The settings for both views are exactly the same, as the queries behind the views, with only the difference in selecting different categories of persons.

The final solution is to copy the settings from one view to another, that works.

For Database Views, make sure that you have set up the primary key fields.
