I would be against SignalR… I don’t see where it adds value… and it can skyrocket your web hosting costs because of all of the traffic…
I read one case where a company’s web hosting went from $800 per month to $12,000 after they added SignalR. Unfortunately, their Developers wanted to add SignalR to their resumes… But, they NEVER consider the business impact… and expense. Of course, their company made them rip out SignalR… So, it was a waste of time and money.
In the end, adding Blazor makes sense… SignalR doesn’t.
