Table and Field caption changes not reflected after compile

Hi,

PhpMaker 2025.12

Just wonder if anyone has seen or had this.

I don’t have multi-languages switched on.

When I change the caption for a table or field it does not get reflected after recompile. I also did a “Generate All Scripts” and still no change. They just remain the same as when the table was first loaded.

Make sure you have re-generated and re-upload the language files under the “lang” folder to your site. The captions are generated in the <ProjectName>.<LanguageId>.xml.

Thanks for the reply.

  • Ended up rebooting my laptop
  • Did a full regeneration
  • Reloaded clearing cache
    • Realized later, normally I would be using incognito for testing
    • Suspect this was the main cause :roll_eyes: Was a long day

That seemed to do the trick.
