TinyMCE Licence Issue (v2025)

Hi,

I am registered user of v2025.

I am getting this issue in generated program

“The editor is disabled because a TinyMCE license key has not been provided.”

Please advise.

You better use TinyMCE 6 (which is MIT license) instead of 7 (which is GPLv2 license). You can select the version in the extension's advanced settings, see Using Extensions.

Hi,

I am already using Version 6 in version field.

I had deleted the whole program and re-generated the whole script.

Results are still the same.

  1. TinyMCE 6 is MIT and it should not ask for license. Make sure you use the latest version of v2025 (i.e. v2025.12).
  2. Delete C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\phpmaker2025 and reopen PHPMaker to make sure old files are removed.
  3. Press Ctrl + F5 in your browser or clear cache files in the your browser.
  4. Press F12 in your browser, go the the Network panel, check the tinymce.js download, view the source, make sure it is v6.
