You just released v26.15 that has "top” placement for Dropdown tooltips. However, top placement only applies if each individual dropdown has 'data-placement="top”’ entered for Custom Attributes. Or to make ALL tooltips top, set page_head server event:

I for one, find ALL my drop-downs are obscured with Select2 default bottom tooltips. I can't think that anyone would find tooltips obscuring drop-downs usable.
It would be nice to make all dropdown tooltips appear at the top and provide an option to set other tooltips top or bottom in Tools-Advanced Settings or at least for Table Options.
